Ah yes, we have been gone awhile, but to your fashion misfourtune we're back.

Let's talk about the platform peep toe boot, how do you feel about this? Fashion kicks function in the teeth this time, and as usual (for the trend) it's acceptable. Yes, you will feel silly rocking a pair of leather boots with a peep toe in cooler weather, but who's complaining?

Pair these (or something similar) with skinny jeans, an oversized t-shirt and a tight, european collared (I prefer black) leather jacket.

Dress up your leather jacket.

I am glad to say that there is yet ANOTHER way to wear your leather jacket. Personally, I constantly have my leather on during the cooler months, we have to be surgically separated in the spring time. But now, you can rock your leather with a light colored silk dress and not have the fashion/function hammer come beat down on you. Yes, it doesn't make much sense (boots and shorts de ja vu?) but it is cute as hell.

Get your hardware on.

This fall is all about heavy hardware, either it's on your purse, shoes, arms, fingers or neck. Just get it, and get a lot of it. Hang it from your hips on your belt loops, buy more and hang it off of your bag, it's over done and so fabulous. If you can't afford Robert Lee Morris or David Yurman, hop online and fine some good cheapies.

This fall you want an "IT" bag. You want quality leather, bold hardware, "IT's" got to be BIG, have an extra strap and look rough. Satchels rule the purse world right now, and carrying everything except your MacBook and 52 pairs of designer shoes is ever so necessary.

So jump on the trendy bag train! It doesn't have to be name brand, or even from this era. Target, Forever21, GoodWill, consignment shops ... anywhere where you can score a large leather bag works. It can take any outfit a step up, I promise. Put away the Coach bag that you can only fit your cell phone and a stick of gum in, do it NOW!

Top coat too much?

I have been a die hard OPI fan since I've discovered the wonderful world of nail polish. Well, I am still a fan of OPI colors, but fuck OPI top coat. I've moved on to bigger, better and CHEAPER things. I ventured into the drug store (GASP) to buy some top coat to do a quick paint job, and here I am almost a week later with a perfect manicure. No chips, no scratches, no peeling.

99 cents my friends, sounds much better than $14.99 ...

I would say that I do HIGHLY recommend this switch.
